artRINX Launches Mobile Platform to Put Community Back at the Center in the Art Industry
artRINX launches in New York with zero commissions, visible pricing and a new category of user: the art-curious
NEW YORK — April 17, 2026 — artRINX, a mobile platform for art discovery launches publicly today on the Apple App Store. Built for emerging and mid-career artists, first-time collectors, galleries, and a fourth audience the art world has long underestimated: the "art curious," defined as the person who walks past a gallery window, loves what they see, and doesn't know what to do next.
Every work on artRINX is an original fine artwork — no AI-generated images, no mass-produced prints. Across every medium, each piece is priced under $15,000, with prices visible on every listing. Collectors and art-curious users can contact artists and galleries directly through the app, discovering where and how to purchase the work they love. No intermediary, no "inquire for price" barrier. You don't need to know anything about art to use artRINX. You just need to be curious.
The platform is currently free for all users.
The launch arrives at a moment of real structural change. First-time buyers made up 38% of gallery sales in 2024, dealers in the affordable segment grew sales 17%, and 82% of collectors under 37 now buy art online, according to the Art Basel and UBS Art Market Report. The appetite for accessible, original art is surging, but the infrastructure to serve that audience has not kept pace. Only 17% of collectors say the art market meets their needs, per Artsy's 2025 Art Market Trends report.
"Every platform I looked at was focused on transactions. None of them were building with community in mind. I built artRINX because I believe artists deserve better visibility and because everyone belongs in the same room: the artist, the collector, the gallerist, and the person who is just art-curious."
artRINX is local-first by design. Rather than connecting a buyer in Tokyo with a seller in Berlin, the platform introduces a first-time collector in Williamsburg to an artist in Bushwick and a gallery hosting a free event on the Lower East Side. Each invited member can shape the platform and bring others in, building organic growth rooted in word of mouth rather than algorithms.
artRINX is not replacing galleries. It's building the audience pipeline that feeds them.
The platform launches with a founding group of artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, mixed media, digital art, and printmaking, with more than 50 original works available and a waitlist of thousands of people. Android is coming soon.
Launch Event
artRINX celebrates its official launch with an invite-only event in New York City on Friday, April 17, 2026. Guests will browse vinyl records featuring original cover art by artists on the platform. Pick up a record, open the app, and follow the artist or find where to purchase the work. Five artists will speak about their creative process while their works are digitally exhibited, and Sarina will close the evening by sharing the artRINX story.
