Community Guidelines
The Short
RINX provides this forum for artists, creators, and collectors to share ideas, their works, and to create opportunities for artistic connection. All members of the RINX community are expected to be familiar with and to abide by these Community Guidelines as well as our Privacy Policy. Failure to follow the Community Guidelines or the Terms of Use may lead to profile suspension, content deletion, or other restrictions of the user account.
We want RINX to be an authentic and safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Upload only art work, photos, and/or videos that you own or have the right to use. Don’t post any nudity without our express permission. Respect everyone on RINX. Always follow the law.
The Long
RINX is a reflection of our diverse community of cultures, ages, and beliefs. We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how the app should work and how to create a safe and open environment for everyone, especially for the collectors and creator community.
We created the Community Guidelines so you can help us foster and protect this amazing collector and creator community. By using RINX, you agree to these Guidelines and our Terms of Use. We are committed to these guidelines, and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted content, blocked or deleted account(s) or other restrictions. We act to enforce the community guidelines to protect all users.
- Share only artwork, photos, and videos that your own or have the right to share.
You should only post content that you own or have the document right to use, including to share with us and with others with this community. Just because you have taken a photo of an artwork or copied it from the Internet doesn't meant that you have the right to use it without the proper license or approval. You must make sure you have the rights to use the content before you post it.
- Post only artwork, photos, and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience.
RINX strives to foster a diverse community with a variety of points of view. Some of our users may find certain topics, most commonly sexual themes, offensive or distasteful. We ask our users to moderate the content they upload and refrain from posting content that includes explicit sexual themes or nudity. This includes photos, videos, and some digitally created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully nude buttocks.
If you wish to share nude images that you believe fall under the category of Fine Arts, you must seek specific prior approval from RINX before posting such content. RINX will have the sole discretion on whether such content may be uploaded and shared. RINX may, at its sole discretion, post Fine Arts content that includes nudity.
We also remove artwork, photos, and videos that contain graphic violence, sadistic images, or images that glorify violence.
- Respect other members of the RINX community.
We want to foster a positive, diverse creator community. Content that is disrespectful, abusive, and that which targets people based on a protected characteristic (race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity) will be removed. We do not permit references associated with hate groups or content that poses or contains serious threats of harm to personal safety or to the public. We remove hate speech or hate related art or video content regardless of whether you produced such content.
- Foster genuine and meaningful interactions.
Don't post spam and don't engage in spamming. Don't impersonate others and create accounts in their names. Don't create accounts for the purpose of evading these Guidelines or misleading others. Respect others'privacy and do not share private or personally identifying information publicly. Don't use this forum to disparage anyone. We have the right to disable or delete your account if you take actions that are harmful to the community or that compromise the security or abuse our community standards of RINX. If we believe you have created secondary or alternate accounts to overcome the disabled accounts, we will delete them as well.
- Linking to your website
You may add your website hyperlink address to your profile for collectors or viewers to reach your website. You may not show your email, phone number, or other contact information on the images or in any part of the media or artwork, but you may otherwise direct the viewers to your e-commerce site or website. The site you are sending users to must be either owned by you or your agent who represents you or you must have a consent from the website to accept your links.
Don't insert a third party's advertising or other promotional content into any part of the media or artwork or use such content for commercial or promotional purposes.
- Keep content relevant to RINX and legal.
RINX is specially built for creator community. Current events or newsworthy events that are not related to art or the creator community are not allowed on RINX. There are many other options for you to upload/post your media, but not here. Help us to keep RINX for the creator community.
RINX is also not a place to support or praise terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups.
We have zero tolerance when it comes to posting of sexual content involving minors or threating or post intimate images of others and will take action to remove this content. If we become aware of apparent child exploitation, we will report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), in compliance with applicable law.
RINX is a forum for creators and collectors. It is not a forum for offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, alcohol, and tobacco products between private individuals, or buying or selling recreational, non-medical, or pharmaceutical drugs. These interactions are strictly prohibited. We also remove content that attempts to trade, co-ordinate the trade of, donate, gift, or ask for recreational, non-medical, or pharmaceutical drugs, as well as content that either coordinates or promotes the use of such drugs, or that which admits to personal use (unless in the recovery context). RINX also prohibits the sale of live animals between private individuals. No one may coordinate poaching or selling of endangered species or their parts. Offering to sell or buy other regulated goods is likewise not allowed.
We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
- Use Artificial Intelligence Tools properly
Don't post AI generated artwork without properly labeling it as being created with AI. Do not claim AI generated artwork as your own creation.
Don't insert any copyrighted artwork or artwork that is uploaded to RINX into an AI generator. Don't use any copyrighted artwork or artwork that is uploaded to RINX to train AI models.
- Help RINX maintain its community standards
Each of us is an important part of the RINX community. If you see something that you think may violate these Guidelines, please report it to us at admin@rinx.com so we can review and take action as quickly as possible. When you report it to us, try to provide as much information as possible, such as links, usernames, and descriptions of the content, so we can find and review it quickly and act accordingly as per the community guidelines.
If you believe certain content on RINX is violating your copyright, please report it to us using the procedure set forth in the Terms of Use. Refrain from making public accusations.
- Changes to these Community Guidelines
RINX may change these Community Guidelines from time to time. Changes are effective when posted. You should check this page from time-to-time for any updates.
